About Us
James A. Samarin founded James Hardware in 1947 encouraged by his boss and mentor, Mr. Carter, who owned a wholesale hardware distribution business in Los Angeles. Three years later, our father John began working for James, his uncle, and continued for the rest of his career. It is a good way to earn an honest living helping people remodel and maintain their homes and properties, and that's why we continue the business to this day.
